Commoner Company is making civic life more accessible and inspired.
Our work brings mission-driven organizations, philanthropies and communities to the table to make ambitious ideas actionable.
Services
We use research, design, facilitation and strategic communications to support civic catalysts: people working to improve public services, institutions and policies in communities across the U.S.
Together with newsmakers, technologists, educators, organizers, policymakers, artists and funders, we’re making high-quality, reliable information more accessible, building digital and physical networks and creating narratives for social change.
Research and Design: Rightsize challenges using research and design principles that create impactful work.
Facilitation and Convening: Coordinate collaborators by facilitating online and in-person conversations, developing learning opportunities and building buy-in that bridges diverse points of view.
Strategic Communications: Help shape and share your impact through writing and digital products that tell the story of your work.
We serve as builders, trusted brokers and thought-partners to a range of journalism and civic institutions because we believe an intersectional approach is crucial to building a more thoughtful, joyful and innovative civic life. We know what it’s like to solve a problem from scratch: the highs and the lows.
